  • A premier manufacturer of made-to-order wood and clad wood windows and doors.
  • A privately-held, family-owned company. The company was founded in 1912 by George G. Marvin and was soon re-named Marvin Lumber & Cedar Company. (Read more about Marvin’s History…)
  • Headquartered in Warroad, Minnesota, a northern Minnesota town with a population of approximately 2,000 people. Warroad is nestled on the shores of Lake of the Woods, just 6 miles from the Canadian border.

Our Products


Each Marvin window or door is made to order—not retrieved from a warehouse of finished products. This process allows us to meet each customer’s unique design and performance specifications and enables us to offer the industry’s most extensive selection of shapes, styles, sizes and options.

Industry Firsts


Marvin Windows and Doors has a worldwide reputation as an innovator, progressive manufacturer and industry leader. Marvin Windows and Doors was the first to:
  • Deliver product using a company-owned fleet of trucks
  • Utilize wood bead glazing instead of putty
  • Offer factory-installed jamb extensions
  • Have our entire product line certified by the National Woodwork Manufacturing Association (now known as the Window and Door Manufacturers Association)
  • Reintroduce Round Top windows to the market
  • Offer Low-E glass on our entire product line
  • Provide a commercial-grade aluminum clad finish (AAMA 2605-05) as a standard finish on an entire product line
